Realism Artist

LITOS Pinto is a master tattoo artist and founder of Forbidden Images Tattoo Studio in Trinity, Florida. With more than 48 years of tattooing experience, LITOS has built a career rooted in custom artwork, technical precision, emotional storytelling, and long-term client trust. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, LITOS began tattooing at a young age and later continued his professional journey in Florida, where he became part of the foundation of the modern tattoo community. His early years at Lou’s Tattoos helped shape his discipline, work ethic, and respect for the craft. In 2001, LITOS and his wife Julie founded Forbidden Images Tattoo Studio, creating a place where clients could feel heard, respected, and guided through meaningful custom tattoo work. LITOS specializes in realism, black & gray, color realism, Japanese-inspired tattoos, portraits, memorial tattoos, cover-ups, floral work, geometric elements, and large-scale sleeves. His work is known for strong composition, smooth shading, depth, movement, and the ability to transform a client’s personal story into powerful visual art. For LITOS, tattooing is never just decoration. Every project begins with listening. Whether a client is honoring a loved one, covering an old tattoo, starting a sleeve, or creating a personal symbol of strength, the goal is always to design a tattoo that carries meaning and stands the test of time. After nearly five decades in the industry, LITOS continues to approach every tattoo with focus, humility, and respect for the person wearing it. His philosophy is simple: create artwork with emotion, integrity, and purpose.
LITOS works primarily in Realism, Color, and Portrait. View the full portfolio above to see recent pieces across each style.
LITOS has been tattooing professionally since 1977 — 49 years as of 2026.
